A broker with Royal LePage Flower City Realty, he works across commercial investment property, leasing, land development and franchise site selection, helping businesses find the right locations to grow. Alongside his brokerage work he is involved in a number of business ventures and community organizations, and supports Punjabi arts and culture through initiatives including Flower City Bhangra and Flower City Gidha. He was named to the Brampton Board of Trade's Top 40 Under 40 in 2018 and received a Brampton Citizen Award in 2019.

Karan serves as Director of Saath Foundation, which raises money to help feed people experiencing homelessness, and Preserve Arts and Culture Canada, which works to keep traditional dances alive.
